FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

Written by Jennifer St John

“If there is any immortality to be had among us human beings, it is certainly only in the love that we leave behind.  Fathers like mine don’t ever die.” ~ Leo Buscaglia

My Dad’s favourite Father’s Day gifts were always just about spending time together – sharing a meal, visiting and playing with his Grandkids, sitting around a bonfire… and fitting in an afternoon nap in our hammock!  If it included catching a game on TV, that was a bonus! It was always the simple pleasures he was after, which is one of the biggest things I miss about him.

My husband is very similar.  Never wanting any big deal to be made, and we’re usually more into giving experiences rather than gifts.  But the kids can’t not get him something, so there is always some kind of gift exchange made – complete with homemade cards – those are the BEST!

For those of you looking for some unique ideas this year, I’ve put together some ideas for Father’s Day to help you out.  Whether you’re looking for a physical gift or an experience gift, here are some great options to check out for the Dad in your life!
